Where are the ethics?

Today I want to talk about ethics. But more precisely - about business ethics. And I have reason to think that nobody actually understands this concept. The big companies that have been around for many decades have basically forgotten that such a thing exists because they are powerful. New companies that have emerged recently do not even know that such a thing exists. Today, real ethical business no longer exists.
Someone will say that I'm not right. Then I'll base my thoughts. The problem is in our society, which has become so global that it begins to destroy itself. Yes, the era of self-destruction has begun. However, the most interesting thing is that, in support of this process, it does not agree. And business ethics, which no longer exists, depends on that. Big and world-famous companies ... Do they have an important business ethics? Not! Because they believe they are the center of the earth, and everything revolves around them. In reality, these companies "shoot yourself on foot" every day. They actually lose their potential customers, but at the same time their setting is such that it does not matter that one of them has gone. They have created their own environment and believe that they can afford everything. And this bad experience is being taken over by new beginners. Once it's established, it's "affordable" to be proud. Somewhat proud in the bad sense.
Usually, people communicate with each other. Resolves issues, deals. However, today self-destruction is taking place. Today, many entrepreneurs believe that NONE should respond to potential partners letters, requests, offers. Of course, we live in an era of vast information, and it will be burdensome to answer each one. Large companies therefore form robots that provide template responses. Little do not do anything. And later, both of them and others are surprised at their company's statistics, which basically indicate a stagnation or a downturn, which in turn seeks to tackle with rising product prices, attracting investors, dumping the industry, and other ineffective steps. Loudly speaking, "defending" the fact that there is overwhelming competition, rogue partners, crisis and other apocalypse. However, all is based on the lack of business ethics.
Many will read when in ancient times suffice with '' word ''. And there was no more shame and a public blame, as a man who did not have the given name. Now it's history. Now the word is replaced by a contract that breaks, breaks, and does not comply, and there is nothing to do with it. Now '' maybe all '', and nothing about it. Now, even if one side has done some work on the other side, then the other side can simply "disappear" without any explanation. And nobody needs to answer. For my company, one of the activities has been international mediation services for many years. Including oil products business. Those who deal with it know how difficult it is to '' capture that niche '' and work there. Continuous tension, thousands of fraudsters from both buyers and sellers. And it's all normal for companies that even have a good reputation. However, the latter believe that it is too "good" to treat their partner as being equal.
In my practice, I believe that if you have begun negotiations even after interest, then you have to say in the end - will work together or not. In case the topic has become uninteresting, there have been changes in the course of the transaction, which prevents completion of the transaction - call me, write an apology letter. And everyone will understand you. It is business ethics. But today everything is going different. Today, you can ask for work from the other side, and then simply 'disappear'. Without explanations, without any ethical standards. In the last half-year, I have had three such "partners" - Woodstock Italia, BEPES Co., and lastly - Simpatrans Oil & Gas. All as reputable companies. And none of them can afford to say - sorry, but this time we will not do anything about it. Instead, it's best to figure out all kinds of tales, and then just get lost. But the funniest thing is that the managers of these companies do not even know that their companies have started working with a "partner". And this is because the initiative is taken by agents, mid-level executives who do not really have the capability to respond and / or make final decisions. And for this reason the company is suffering. But does the head of the company say it? Not! Because he is mighty ....
This is a brief overview of the business ethics, or, rather, it would be better to say that there is no ethical business.
